| Hi there, thanks for checking out my page. I'm Michael Aaron Hambel I'm a photographer from northern New Jersey right outside of the New York City area. I have been behind the lens for as long as I can remember. I started shooting on my father's film cameras as a kid in the 80's. Over twenty years ago I received a Pentax 35mm as a gift and I have been shooting with it ever since. Over five years ago I got into the digital scene with a Pentax *istD, their first digital slr camera. In 2007 I started studying photography at the County College of Morris. Through that I have been fortunate to learn the Hasselblad film and digital systems. Most recently I have ventured into the world of 4x5 large format. In enjoy shooting live theater, street scenes, and portraits. I enjoy being in the darkroom as much as I enjoy doing digital work. |
